About Nashville Sunset Rotary

Nashville Sunset Rotary Club is an inclusive place for business professionals to find fulfillment and fellowship outside of work through learning about and serving our communities. We are comprised of individuals working and living in Nashville looking to combining philanthropy + social events + networking opportunities. We’re a newer club, so our meetings have a casual feel compared to larger or more established clubs. We encourage you to attend our club meetings to see if our Rotary Club is a good fit for you!

What is Rotary INternational?

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

Rotary’s Mission

We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

What Rotary does

Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:

  • Peacebuilding and conflict prevention

  • Disease prevention and treatment

  • Water, sanitation, and hygiene

  • Maternal and child health

  • Basic education and literacy

  • Community economic development

“It’s an honor to go the extra mile in serving this great organization. I see Rotary as the original social network formed to exchange ideas and resources so we can transform lives. We’re a bold NGO that believed it could end a disease, and we’ve stuck to the cause for over three decades. That thought inspires me every morning.”
— John Hewko, General Secretary, Rotary International

What Rotary has achieved

  • 16 million volunteer hours each year.

  • 2.5 billion children immunized against polio.
